Carnegie Sports Injury Clinic

Profiles

Doug Clark, BSc; DC; ICSSD; MCC

Doug is the vice president of the British Chiropractic Sports Council and has been a chiropractor for 12 years, dividing his time between private practice in Sale, South Manchester and in sports injury treatment.
In recent times, Doug has worked as the chiropractor for Sale Sharks RUFC, Lancashire Cricket, Manchester Phoenix Ice Hockey, Premiership football and with Alison Rose and the Carnegie Sports Injury team delivering services to track and field athletes.

Chiropractic is a safe and effective treatment for all. Chiropractors complete a 5 year degree, training to be able to diagnose the cause of a complaint and then to use safe manual adjustments, restore mobility and improve nerve, muscle and joint function.
For athletes, in particular, the maintenance of good spinal function using Chiropractic as part of a multi-disciplinary approach to injury prevention and rehabilitation can be especially helpful.

Doug holds a clinic at Carnegie Sports Injuries Clinic once a month, usually on Tuesdays.
