Recent Events
Natasha qualified in 2002 in Sports Science (Bsc), in Sports Therapy (Adv dip) 2007 and as a Physiotherapist in July 2008.
She ended the 2008/09 season on a high with the Leeds Met women’s football team being crowned BUCS Champions. Natasha then became the lead physiotherapist for Leeds Met men’s rugby union team for the 2009/10 season, which she thoroughly enjoyed, which was the team’s most successful season to date, finishing 2nd in the BUCS league, finally bowing out in the BUCS semi-finals against Hartpury College. She was also the Physiotherapist for both the Men’s and Women’s Rugby Teams epic journey to Oxfordshire which saw both teams crowned as BUSCS Rugby 7’s Champions.
In 2009/10 Natasha has enjoyed the challenge of further developing the ‘Clean Up’ sessions for university teams, analysing the injury statistics and forming links between the clinic and the coaching staff to enhance their athletes’ performance as well as treating and preventing injuries.
Her other highlights include working with Great Britain Race Walking and most recently, the Great Britain boxing team.
As an ex-County level Gymnast, Natasha took up break dancing in 2002 and enjoys attending and participating in national and international break dancing competitions in her spare time and has also worked previously as a fitness instructor, personal trainer and Cardiac Rehabilitation instructor.
